Changes to Operating Procedures Due to COVID-19
To: All Residents
The health and safety of Havenpark Communities’ employees and residents continues to be our highest priority. As we continue to actively monitor developments related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we are taking all necessary precautions in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), state health departments, and other governmental advisory agencies. Please continue to remain calm, which is the best response to any challenge.
- At this time, we want to issue some guidance on some changes to our community operations.
- The services we provide to our residents are considered “essential” according to the standards issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which encourages us to continue operating even where “Shelter in Place” / “Stay at Home” orders are enacted.
These essential services allow us to provide residents with a safe, secure place to call home.
- Community offices will continue to be staffed and open during regular hours (Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM; Saturday 10AM-3PM). However, staff will be available to residents and to the public by appointment only.
Please continue to utilize phone and email to interact with community staff, whenever possible.
- Rent continues to be due on the 1st of each month. All rental payments for April rent and going forward should be submitted either (1) online via our Resident Portal, located at http://havenparkcommunities.com/residents/, or (2) dropped off in the lockbox outside of the community
As previously communicated, residents are encouraged to sign up for the Resident Portal for maximum convenience and to minimize in person contact with community staff.
- Generally, our maintenance technicians are still working and readily available to perform necessary maintenance work, emergency repair work, servicing of utilities (water, sewer, etc.), and certain other work, but will perform such work under slightly different conditions to ensure the health and safety of our maintenance technicians and residents
Conversely, certain non-urgent maintenance or repair work may need to be performed at a later date. Please be patient during this time, as employee and resident safety is our top priority.
- All community amenities are temporarily closed
Following recommendations from local and federal agencies, all community amenities are temporarily closed to keep our communities healthy.
As you know, the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic are rapidly evolving, with drastic shifts in federal, state, and local guidelines and laws happening on a frequent basis. Havenpark will continue to act in accordance with the most current circumstances, guidelines, and laws and will provide updates as necessary. Residents are encouraged to view our updates and other information located on our website at http://havenparkcommunities.com/residents/.
Please reach out to your community manager if you have any questions. You may also reach out to our Home Office staff at [email protected] if you have additional questions. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
Best,
Havenpark Communities
