COVID-19 Hygiene Best Practices & Guidelines

To: All Residents & Prospective Renters/ Buyers

The health and safety of Havenpark Communities’ employees and residents is our highest priority. As we continue to actively monitor developments related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we are taking all necessary precautions in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), state health departments, and other governmental advisory agencies. Please continue to remain calm, which is the best response to any challenge.

Among other things, we are asking employees to avoid touching their mouth, nose, or eyes with unwashed hands; cover their mouth and nose with a tissue or their sleeve when coughing or sneezing; wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available; clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces; avoid close contact with people who are sick.

If they are experiencing the primary symptoms of COVID-19, which are fever, cough, and shortness of breath, or if they have tested positive for COVID-19, or if they have come in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we are asking them to stay home, speak with their physician, and notify our Home Office staff so that we can take any necessary actions to continue protecting our employees and residents. Regular cleaning of all offices and work areas must continue, including vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, etc. Extra precautions must also be taken to clean and disinfect all common touch areas in the workplace every two (2) hours. Restrooms, doors and counters should be cleaned three (3) times per day and thoroughly disinfected at least once a day.

We are asking employees to ensure that there is no more than one resident / prospect per room in the office at any given time, with a limit of 10 people in the entire building. Per CDC recommendations, we are asking employees to keep a distance of at least 6 feet from each other and from residents / prospects, whenever possible.

The well-being of our employees and that of our residents is of paramount importance. We will continue to communicate and provide updates as this situation progresses.
