Havenpark resident Gabriela Gonzalez Venegas will be attending Colorado State University
OREM, Utah, December 13, 2024, Havenpark Communities, an operator and developer of manufactured home communities in Colorado and across the country, awarded an academic scholarship Colorado resident Gabriela Gonzalez. The scholarships, worth up to $10,000 annually, are part of Havenpark’s Annual J. Anthony Antonelli Scholarship for residents. In 2024, Havenpark awarded 42 students from across its communities with scholarships to cover expenses for colleges, universities, trade, and vocational schools.
“We are dedicated to investing in our communities, and that includes supporting the education of our residents. With over $500,000 dedicated annually to our Education Success Program, we are not just funding scholarships, we are fostering a culture of learning and growth,” said Ramie Rajabi, president of Havenpark.
Havenpark’s scholarship was awarded to Gabriela Gonzalez Venegas, who is attending Colorado State University.
Each year, Havenpark dedicates a minimum of $500,000 to its Education Success Program, established in 2021 by Havenpark co-founder J. Anthony Antonelli. After experiencing significant barriers to education in his childhood mobile home community, Antonelli’s legacy was honored through the renaming of the program after his passing earlier this year. To date, the Education Success Program has awarded 101 scholarships to residents and has actively supported students with mentoring and resources for higher education attainment.
“The Education Success Program is about providing our residents the tools and opportunities they need to succeed,” said Jason Hale, director of Havenpark’s Education Success Program. “This scholarship reflects J. Anthony Antonelli’s personal goal of helping people like himself overcome barriers and pursue higher education.” Havenpark’s commitment to enriching the lives of its residents through education has been recognized by Multi-Housing News’ Humanitarian Award for the last two years.
