OREM, Utah, December 11, 2024, Havenpark Communities, an operator and developer of manufactured home communities in Iowa and across the United States, awarded academic scholarships to four Iowa students. The scholarships, worth up to $10,000 annually, are part of Havenpark’s Annual J. Anthony Antonelli Scholarship for residents. In 2024, Havenpark provided scholarships to 42 students from its communities with scholarships to cover expenses for colleges, universities, trade, and vocational schools.
“Having access to higher education is a key part of realizing the American dream,” said Havenpark CEO and Co-Founder Robbie Pratt. “We are very proud of the passionate and driven students who make up this program, and we wish them all the best in their future careers.”
Havenpark’s scholarships were awarded to the following students from its Iowa communities:
- Emma Barta, Kirkwood Community College
- Evan Meyer, University of Iowa
- Abdou Razac Ibrahim, University of Iowa
- Jason Wilson, Kirkwood Community College
Havenpark is proud to allocate at least $500,000 each year to its Education Success Program. The program was established in 2021 by Havenpark co-founder J. Anthony Antonelli. Inspired by the educational hurdles he faced growing up in mobile home communities, Antonelli’s vision for the program lives on, with the scholarship recently being renamed in his honor after his passing. Since its inception, the Education Success Program has awarded 101 scholarships to residents and continues to offer mentorship and support, helping students achieve their academic aspirations and build a brighter future.
“Investing in our residents’ education goes beyond offering scholarships. We proudly support these students throughout their post-secondary education journeys through mentorship and educational counseling,” said Jason Hale, director of Havenpark’s Education Success Program.
