OREM, Utah, December 12, 2024, Havenpark Communities, an operator and developer of manufactured home communities in Ohio and across the country, awarded academic scholarships to four Ohio students. The scholarships, worth up to $10,000 annually, are part of Havenpark’s J. Anthony Antonelli Scholarship for residents. In 2024, Havenpark awarded 42 students from across its communities with scholarships to cover expenses for colleges, universities, trade, and vocational schools.
“Each of these students has demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience. We are excited to support their aspirations, whether they’re pursuing degrees at universities or technical training at colleges. Their success is a reflection of the strength and potential within our communities,” said Havenpark president Ramie Rajabi.
Havenpark’s scholarships were awarded to the following students from its Ohio communities:
- Jack Manzo, The Ohio State University
- Danika Mier y Teran, University of Cincinnati, Blue Ash College
- Patrick Price, Columbus State Community College
- Tricia Webb, Polaris Career Center
Havenpark is committed to investing a minimum of $500,000 annually in its Education Success Program, an initiative founded in 2021 by co-founder J. Anthony Antonelli. Inspired by his own experiences overcoming educational challenges in mobile home communities, Antonelli’s vision remains a cornerstone of the program, which was renamed in his honor following his passing earlier this year. Since its inception, the program has awarded 101 academic scholarships to residents and continues to provide valuable mentoring and support to students pursuing higher education. This ongoing investment reflects Havenpark’s deep commitment to promoting educational opportunities and success within its communities.
“By providing scholarships and mentorship, we aim to create a supportive environment that nurtures talent and ambition, ensuring that our residents have the tools they need to achieve their goals,” said Director of Havenpark’s Education Success Program Jason Hale.
Havenpark’s Education Success Program was honored with its second consecutive Humanitarian Award from Multi-Housing News on December 5, 2024. The award recognizes Havenpark’s commitment to increasing higher education access for residents.
