OREM, Utah, December 11, 2024, Havenpark Communities, an operator and developer of manufactured home communities in Minnesota and across the country, awarded academic scholarships to six Minnesota students. The scholarships, worth up to $10,000 annually, are part of Havenpark’s annual J. Anthony Antonelli Scholarship for residents. In 2024, Havenpark awarded 42 students from across its communities with scholarships to cover expenses for colleges, universities, trade, and vocational schools.
“We are dedicated to investing in the future of our residents. With a minimum of $500,000 allocated annually to our Education Success Program, we are not just providing scholarships but creating pathways to success. Our goal is to ensure that every student has the resources they need to thrive in their educational pursuits,” said Havenpark President Ramie Rajabi.
Havenpark’s scholarships were awarded to the following students from its Minnesota communities:
- Sarai Avalos Quiroz, Hamline University
- Jesus Boites, South Central Community College
- Amirsalar Firouzeh, Normandale Community College
- Avery Fredericks, Bethel University
- Faith Rinehart, Inver Hills Community College
- Kelly Rosas, University of Minnesota
Every year, Havenpark allocates at least $500,000 to its Education Success Program, established in 2021 by co-founder J. Anthony Antonelli. Having experienced numerous educational challenges during his childhood in mobile home communities, Antonelli’s legacy lives on through the program, which was renamed in his memory after his passing earlier this year. The program has successfully awarded 101 scholarships to residents and provides mentoring to current and prospective students pursuing higher education, exemplifying Havenpark’s dedication to educational enrichment.
