Information on Montana State Financial Assistance Programs and Resources Due to COVID-19
To: All Residents
To help our Residents through these unprecedented times arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, Havenpark Communities has compiled a list of Montana state financial programs and resources that may be available to you.
Please note that the programs and resources mentioned in this document are meant to provide

- MONTANA STATE RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUALS
- Expanded Montana Unemployment Benefits
If you are currently unemployed (due to layoffs, furloughs, or reduction in workforce) due to
COVID-19, you may be eligible for expanded unemployment benefits.
- Summary of program: Montana has expanded and extended unemployment benefits for
qualifying individuals affected by COVID-19. Montana has also waived the typical waiting
period, and qualified individuals can now submit a claim for benefits the first week their
employment ends or their work hours are reduced. Montana’s benefits are in addition to the
federal unemployment benefits discussed below. - Who is Eligible: Individuals who were employed and earned the minimum threshold wage in
the last 18 months and are out of work due to any COVID-19 related reasons, including, but
not limited to, laid off or had their hours reduced due to a loss of production or employer
shutdown caused by COVID-19, cannot work or had a reduction in hours caused by contracting
or caring for someone who contracted COVID-19, or accepted temporary unpaid leaves of

- SBA Disaster Assistance Loan for Small Businesses
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), administrated through the states, is offering
Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help small businesses overcome the temporary loss of revenue
caused by COVID-19. The loans are offered at low interest rates.
